We realized early on that the core function of a Benchmark conference hotel or conference resort was to provide an environment that would facilitate idea exchange, problem-solving and retention of learning. The accomplishment of this threefold task within a professional business environment free from the distractions and interruptions of daily business life, requires that the property be designed, managed and marketed to meet the specific needs of a meeting planner's objectives for the company's meeting.
Many metropolitan hotel properties and resort destinations do not wish to meet these criteria, nor do they plan the facilities or management focus to accommodate them. It is an area of specialization that requires a unique and dedicated approach.
