The Kessler Enterprise, Inc. is a dynamic real estate development, ownership, and management company that specializes in hotel properties and commercial real estate. Founded by Richard C. Kessler in 1985 in Atlanta, Georgia, the company has developed a 900-acre industrial park (Georgia North), a 500-acre residential and commercial Planned Unit Development, and nine themed hotels.
Mr. Kessler's expertise in the hotel and real estate business is grounded in his experiences with Cecil B. Day in the founding and expansion of Days Inn of America. Recognizing the potential for phenomenal growth in Florida in the early 1970s, Kessler established Day Realty of Orlando in 1972 and began developing and successfully operating over 3,000 rooms in Orlando. Kessler served as President, CEO, and Chairman of Days Inn of America from 1975 until 1984. The company sold in 1984, and Kessler turned his attention to other endeavors and founded The Kessler Enterprise, Inc.
Believing that people want to be entertained, have fun, and be comfortable when they stay at a hotel on business or on vacation, Kessler developed his vision for themed hotels. Beginning his inspiring collection in 1995, Kessler has expanded the company to include ten boutique and luxury hotels, as well as three residential properties with new developments in progress:

- Columbia Place Residences in Savannah, GA – Scheduled to open in 2006
- Grand Bohemian Hotel and Residences in St. Petersburg. FL – Scheduled to open in 2009
