No – I think you can know someone without traveling with them but I do agree that you do learn a lot about a person when traveling with them.
What is your travel horror story?
I honeymooned in the Dominican Republic and a tropical storm arose during our stay. Our room started leaking from all the rain and we ended up having to pack up and change rooms. This happened four different times during our stay - each time we’d arrive at a new room, it would appear to be fine and then in the middle of the night, it would start leaking.
Favorite destination and why?
Switzerland – It is one of the most beautiful places I have been to and I love the crystal clear lakes surrounded by sheer mountain cliffs, hiking around the waterfalls and the ability to ski year round there.
