Meet the people behind Cendyn

Ashleigh ReynoldsName: Ashleigh Reynolds

Title: CRM Product Service Coordinator EMEA

Describe your role: Fixing customers’ issues and problems behind the scenes

Where are you located? Manchester, UK

Tell us an unknown fact about where you are based: Manchester was at the center of the industrial revolution so the city and its surrounds are full of huge, red brick factory buildings dating from the 1800s.

What attracted you to Cendyn? The people – I picked up on a great vibe and positive feeling right from the beginning!

How do your strengths play into the work you do? I have to work really, really closely with my team members and I love to get to know people and build relationships so this helps to cement our working relationship, which benefits our clients as they have a solid and functional team available to help them with their requests.

What do you like most about working at Cendyn? I love speaking to someone in Germany, someone else in Canada, another person in Singapore and a whole office in Florida, all at once!

Favorite Cendyn moment: When I first started with Cendyn I went to Germany to meet my team and get trained up. During that week we had to take a trip to Frankfurt one day, which is about 3 hours away by train from where we were. It was a really long day in Frankfurt and we finally got on the train home in the early evening. There was almost no one on the train except Felix and I, and the train journey felt like it was never-ending. We were both feeling a little delirious from having been awake since 4am and still sitting on a train at 9pm and, I can’t remember what triggered it, but we had a laughing fit because we were so tired and desperate to get off the train! Everyone works hard at Cendyn but there is time to laugh together too!

Define hospitality in your own words: Accommodating people in the best way possible, to make sure their time with you is smooth and enjoyable.

What do you like to do for fun? I love seeing new cities, walking my Dachshund and sewing!

Parting words of wisdom: Be kind to others – it’s free!
