Describe your role: I partner with SMEs to create impactful training content such as articles, videos, and/or interactive training.
Where are you located? Minnesota (the land of winter)
Tell us an unknown fact about where you are based: The author of The Great Gatsby, F Scott Fitzgerald, was born in Saint Paul and grew up in Minnesota!
What attracted you to Cendyn? I was originally from the manufacturing industry, so I was attracted to everything. But if I must name one thing, it would be Cendyn’s technology. I was most excited to learn about our technology and products and how we can use them to help hotels get to the next level!
How do your strengths play into the work you do? My strength is the ability to put myself in the learner’s shoes. This helps me work with SMEs to design training content that will speak to the learner.
What do you like most about working at Cendyn? I like that everyone has the same goal, improving products and training.
Favorite Cendyn moment: My first All Hands Meeting. There was so much information shared and so much positivity!
Define hospitality in your own words: To me, hospitality is making others feel welcome and at home. Making everything smooth and easy going for the customer.
Most memorable moment at a hotel: A breakfast buffet that had the best waffles! Freshly made waffles, with syrup, strawberries, and whipped cream available for toppings! Lol.
What do you like to do for fun? I like to create shadow box frames, explore random parks/flower gardens for selfies, and go to local events around town, like carnivals, Renaissance fair, State Fair, Christmas tree lighting, and so on.
