About

Castelbrac began with the acquisition of a villa by 2 families in the 1850s. Then, in 1934, a new chapter began when the National Museum of Natural History acquired the building. In 1935, the Villa Bric-à-Brac was transformed into an aquarium until its definitive closure in 1992. In 2010, Villa Bric-à-Brac and the aquarium were purchased by local enthusiast Yann Bucaille and his wife Lydwine. In 2015, the establishment and the villa were restored with strict respect for history and became a prestigious 5-star hotel! Castelbrac now shares its exceptional heritage and location with its guests. Decorated in the spirit of the Roaring Twenties and reinvented with refinement and elegance, the 24 rooms and suites reveal a warm atmosphere and top-of-the-range facilities and services.
