Castelbrac Hotel - Cendyn Customer Success Story

Castelbrac increases direct revenue by 109% with Cendyn website services

Castelbrac’s main objectives were to increase the revenue generated by its website and be supported by hotel industry experts in their online distribution. The website had to convey the hotel’s positioning and values.

Cendyn’s team designed a bespoke website based on the hotel’s specific requirements. We implemented tracking tools for precise performance monitoring, enabling us to steer the hotel’s digital distribution strategy. The development of the website was based on today’s technologies, which enable fluid, fast navigation and are designed for mobile devices.

Then, to improve the visibility of the hotel’s website, our experts set up targeted advertising campaigns on search engines and metasearch to capture as many direct travelers as possible. To continue increasing sales via the hotel’s website, Cendyn’s team closely monitors performance and works in close collaboration with the hotel’s management.

We've been Cendyn partners for 6 years now and I'm very satisfied with their expertise. The team is proactive, dynamic, and professional. We have achieved our objectives and continue to increase the hotel's visibility every year. Thanks to Cendyn, our website has become our 1st booking channel and has enabled us to increase our direct revenue. We worked closely together in building the website to facilitate the customer journey and convert quickly. I recommend Cendyn to hoteliers!

This case study was completed before the Cendyn acquisition of WIHP but Castelbrac can now benefit from the suite of Cendyn products.

Castelbrac began with the acquisition of a villa by 2 families in the 1850s. Then, in 1934, a new chapter began when the National Museum of Natural History acquired the building. In 1935, the Villa Bric-à-Brac was transformed into an aquarium until its definitive closure in 1992. In 2010, Villa Bric-à-Brac and the aquarium were purchased by local enthusiast Yann Bucaille and his wife Lydwine. In 2015, the establishment and the villa were restored with strict respect for history and became a prestigious 5-star hotel! Castelbrac now shares its exceptional heritage and location with its guests. Decorated in the spirit of the Roaring Twenties and reinvented with refinement and elegance, the 24 rooms and suites reveal a warm atmosphere and top-of-the-range facilities and services.
